Serasa Score 2.0 – Check yours for free

Did you know that Serasa Score changed to Serasa Score 2.0? But calm down because it has changed for the better. Now the score calculation is more transparent and better reflects your current financial situation. See what has changed and learn more about this personal credit analysis tool.

The credit score is a score that varies from 0 (zero) to 1000 (one thousand) and indicates to the market the chances of you paying your bills on time. But the percentages for each category were changed to show the current, not past, financial reality of each likely credit consumer.

The news is that with the new Serasa Score 2.0, your current financial situation counts more when calculating your score. Therefore, the analyzes are fairer and clearer. This applies both to those looking for credit, that is, the consumer, and to those who offer it, in this case, the market as a whole.

What changed in Serasa Score 2.0?

Serasa Artificial Intelligence calculates your score using some categories. For example:

  • Contracted credit;
  • Debt history;
  • Credit payment;
  • Payment of debts;
  • Credit usage time; It is
  • Credit inquiries (service).

The big change, in fact, is the weight that each of them has. In other words, positive registration information becomes more prominent. Therefore, they gained more evidence and, therefore, the score changes too. Anyway, let's try to understand this new algorithm a little better?

How it was versus how it was

In Score 2.0, the score will represent your financial situation more accurately. Furthermore, it will be more aligned with how the credit market sees your profile. Keep an eye on new recommendations to improve your Score. In fact, look at the percentages in the table below:

In order to better portray the present, now, “Credit Payment” represents almost 44% of the calculation. Although, before, this same category was less than 14%. In short, this means that credit accounts paid on time carry much more weight than old debts, for example.

This update, after all, makes it possible to better distinguish who offers – or does not – the risks of assuming their financial commitments. Very good, isn't it? However, despite this being the most tonic change, as you can see in the table above, the changes are not limited to just that.

After all, there is no one better than Serasa to help with this mission, right? See below, then, a topic of the main changes in the Serasa Score 2.0 calculations:

  • Considers SPC and Serasa debt history in one place;
  • Value your current financial behavior more;
  • Gives more weight to credit payments;
  • Facilitates fairer credit analyses;
  • Brings new classification bands.

Another important point in the image above, which must be considered, is that the weight of the “Debt history” drops to less than half of its previous value. While in Score 1.0 it represented more than 30% of the final score value, in the current Score 2.0 it is situated at a little more than 14%.

General Data Protection Law

Above all, a very important reminder: All of your data collected for this calculation is used exclusively to compose your Score and credit protection. In short, Serasa strictly follows the LGPD and your information is under no circumstances used for other purposes.
